… the blog

Welcome to Live… Eat… Create.! a blog created to share unique projects, real life tips and the most delicious of the recipes collected through the years of traveling and relocating around Europe, adjusted to fit the budget and busy life of modern households.

 … me

I’m Constance

…a social scientist with a career in HR  training and development, a wife to a multitask husband,  an expat living somewhere around Europe (difficult to keep up with location updates), a passionate cook, an aspiring artist, a DIY’er, a traveler, a dreamer,a bohemian in heart pursuing a creative life. Ever since I can remember myself I have been a crafty person and I love customizing everything around me from furniture to cooking recipes just to bring a sense of uniqueness in everyday life. Seeing the world, discovering new food recipes and learning new crafting techniques is my ever ending project and sharing them with people from all over the world is my new found passion!

 … bohemian life

The word expat derives from the Greek originated word expatriate and can roughly be translated as he who leaves his own country with or without his own will. As a Greek native speaker, listening to this word from the moment I moved abroad, brought a certain discomfort. Expatriate as a word holds a meaning of abandon-es and therefore brings a sense of sadness and nostalgia. Yes, all expats experience a certain amount of nostalgia but in most cases is perfectly balanced with a life full of adventures and new experiences. Seeing the world from a new perspective, fitting your household in a few suitcases, enriching your culture with new ones, becoming your own home and creating a bran new philosophy for life is what expat life is all about, or as I prefer to call it …bohemian life.

Grab your beloved huge mug, pour in some coffee and let’s lead our lives in a more Bohemian way   😉

Love Constance

        1. Oh thank you for that sweet comment. Everyday life is inspiring for me. The way you deal with those little things is always interesting because we all have to deal with them and if you have a good tip or idea why not share it? As I like to believe, bloggers are ordinary people, living ordinary lives, doing ordinary stuff in an extraordinary way! How about you? What inspires you?

    1. Thank you so much for the sweet comment Lisa 😘 I am sorry I was late to get back to you but I am on the move at the moment and it’s not easy to keep up. I will definitely make sure to visit your blog as soon as possible. I love meeting people with the same interests 😉

    1. Hey, How nice of you to visit back! I really appreciate it. I’m very glad you like my photos. As a new blogger myself I am still struggling to find my style in writing and photography, specially when it comes to food photography.
About the doilies’ post (and every other roundup post) what I do is check the blog for any statement of property rights and when authorization is needed I ask for permission, if not I just share the content with a reference (and a link) to the original author. I would recommend you to always put a reference to the original author or photographer with a link back to the original source.
So you noticed my empty bucket list… it’s a work in progress as the whole blog is :p so feel free to pop any ideas. I’m always open to suggestions 😉
I noticed there is no ABOUT section in your blog and I would really love to know a few more things about you and what it’s all about. Your life seems very active and adventurous .. I can’t way to learn more about you!
